Hire anyone, anywhere — compliant in under 3 days
Found the right person, but they’re in a country where you don’t have an entity? Setting one up can take months and significant cost.
Remote removes that barrier by becoming the legal employer through our own entities — handling compliant contracts, local benefits, tax setup, and onboarding for you. In fact, an employee is onboarded to Remote every 7 minutes.
Once they’re hired, the same in-house teams that support employment locally also run payroll — so you’re not bouncing between disconnected providers. Less setup, less complexity, and less time between finding the right person and getting them started.
THE SIGNAL
Hello, and welcome to the 15th edition of Signal Report.
The sharpest number in this week's map isn't a cluster. It's a word.
‘security’ lost two-thirds of its bridging power in seven days, 0.62 to 0.21. In the same week ‘agent’ more than doubled, 0.32 to 0.70.
Bridging power measures how often the shortest paths between concepts run through a given one. That concept has usually been "security." This week it's "agent," by the widest margin in my archive - though it happened once before, on August 18, and reverted within a week. Treat the direction as real and the durability as unproven.
The same shift is everywhere else. CrowdStrike launched an agent identity provider built on short-lived scoped tokens. Broadcom shipped per-action authorization and activity trails. OWASP debuted an Agent Control Standard covering runtime policy. HiddenLayer raised $100M; AIR emerged from stealth with $50M. And a bipartisan House bill would put NIST behind agent verification and tamper-proof logging.
Market and legislature reached the same answer in the same week: govern the actor, not the model.
Then I read the incident record, which suggests which half of that binds.
